"In the name of King and country, the champion Light faces off against the nefarious Lord of Shadow. But just when victory seems all but certain, the champion finds himself transformed into a small, fluffy creature.
Far, far away, in a curious village, a boy and girl fiddle with a machine, known as the World Flipper. In a bright flash, the apparatus summons the talking animal Light, pursued by minions of the Dark Throne. Though the now hapless Light must rely on Alk to defend himself from the daemons, he is set upon returning home and defeating the Lord of Shadow once and for all. With Alk and the slightly off-kilter Stella by his side, Light embarks on an epic, cross-world adventure."
