Rerolling
Rerolling is the process of repeatedly creating, pulling on, and deleting new accounts in order to get an account with particularly high-value starting units. Rerolling is unnecessary but recommended for meta advancement, as it is otherwise very difficult to guarantee core units. Nevertheless, the time investment required may deter newer or more casual players from doing so. Generally, new accounts can only do eleven free pulls except during events or when beads are given out in the mailbox.
Newer players are recommended to get a feel for the game by playing through part of the storyline before deciding whether or not to start over and reroll. A basic rerolling guide is available at Rerolling. An updated rerolling guide is maintained in Discord.
Progression
- Start by going through the main storyline.
- Each stage gives a few beads, the currency required for pulling.
- Finishing a world (a set of stages) unlocks co-op bosses, which are important for farming for early- and mid-game purposes. Bells (top-left of screen) may ring when these bosses are unlocked; bells correspond to co-op rooms hosted by other players for these bosses. Bells are rare at early ranks. Accepting bells cost zero stamina, and are therefore particularly efficient for farming purposes.
- The main storyline is, for the most part, easily completed with a sword power-flip lead, like Alk.
- Personalized advice is available in Discord. Start by filling out your VEliyaBot tracker with the units you own. Click

- The next stage of progression involves The Kaleidoscope, Necropolis, events and co-op bosses.
- As you proceed through the main storyline, begin farming The Kaleidoscope and Necropolis. These represent solo-only content that provide manaboard materials (elements and stars) for upgrading your units, but are often challenging for newer players to beat.
- Events and co-op bosses are co-op content that can be a shortcut to progressing through early game quickly. Guides for newer players to be effective contributors and organized matchmaking for such bosses and events are available on the Discord.
Murakumo and
Ame no Habakiri are particularly valuable to have early in the game. These are available from the Orochi co-op boss unlocked after completing World 6.- The Godly difficulty of co-op bosses is considerably harder than earlier difficulties and often requires upgraded units and cohesive team compositions. Guides are available on the Discord.
- Endgame content revolves around Solo Boss Challenges, which unlock at Rank 80 and represent a marked increase in difficulty over even Godly co-op bosses.
- These bosses require significantly upgraded units and usually all the weapons from the Godly bosses of their respective elements. They provide materials for second manaboard (MB2), which provides a second level of upgrades for existing units.
