Legacy of the Deep Event/Thus Spoke Zegra
Just when things start to look grim, Belsidia and Marina come to Alk's rescue, turning things around. Belsidia runs off to chase after fleeing Adala, when the party suddenly hear a roar- it's Captain Zegra, in his draconic, altered form. Luca and Marina, having had enough of the Captain's misguided ways, choose to finally confront him head on.
Alk: These guys don't give up, do they...
Luca: Alk! There's nowhere left to run...
Adala: How incredibly foolish of you. Where exactly did you expect to flee to? We're in an enclosed vessel in the middle of the ocean.
Adala: But no matter. More importantly... Luca... You...
Adala: You still haven't transformed...
Luca: Transformed?
Adala: How could the process have failed... So long as the vessel shared similar genetic material, it should have worked... Was I mistaken?

Marina: I'll stop the recording there. it's not very pleasant after that- he just goes on and on about passing down genes.
